Question for Germans or people living in germany

Question for Germans or people living in germany?
I am interested in moving to Germany and working as a nurse, obviously I will have to speak German fluently and apply for a work visa, ect... My question is what is the job market like over there? Would I as a foreigner even stand a chance getting a job?

Nurses are very much needed but be aware the money you get for the job really is hard to live on. I join the website of the German Arbeitsagentur Nurse in German is Krankenschwester in case you need the word. That said depending on your citizenship the visa can be a problem too.

U.S. Nurse needing a job/study opportunities in Germany

U.S. Nurse needing a job/study opportunities in Germany?
Hi, My husband and I are going to be in Germany for the next two years. I've applied to the military bases in the area we're living, but they only want to hire military wives, which is understandable. So I am wondering about other possibilities...perhaps even getting my master's degree in an area of nursing that I can use when I get back to the States. Any suggestions?

Definately look into that. Try to find out who's hiring there, if there's any possibility in career advancement while you're there. Sorry, if this wasn't very helpful, but I've never been to Germany!

Can I go to Germany and attend nursing school?
I am 18 years of age and I have a G.E.D. I am certified to drive a forklift and certified in CNA (certified nursing assistant) from Inland Empire Job Corps. My main goal is to become a RN (registered nurse). Is I possible for me to do this? Can you help me?

Well if you are fluent in German (or at least enough to pass the proficiency test) then you can apply. You'll have to contact the schools as to the specific admissions requirements, they may require something more or you may be set to apply and come over. When you apply to study in another country you need to already have your passport as they need the numbers on your application to process you.
